Breast Cancer Recovery

Health Coaching could be the right next step if you:

  • Are interested or concerned about your breast health and wellbeing and you would like support and encouragement, identifying lifestyle changes that could help to reduce your personal risk of developing breast cancer now or in the future.

  • If you have had a diagnosis of breast cancer and you have now been discharged from your treating hospital back to your GP following your treatment and follow up care and would still like extra support to adopt and maintain a healthy lifestyle then I can help you.

As an experienced nurse practitioner in breast health and breast cancer I understand your need for support does not end when treatment and follow up care is complete as you may still be coming to terms with all the changes that have taken place both physically mentally spiritually and emotionally.

  • If you are experiencing low energy, unwanted weight gain, stress and anxiety, lack of motivation, lack of confidence, cancer fatigue sleep problems or just need a little guidance on healthy eating, exercise and movement or managing menopausal symptoms all of which can stop you from experiencing a happy healthy future then I can help you.

  • You may have heard that diet and lifestyle can affect the risk of breast cancer coming back, also known as recurrence. The World Cancer Research Fund UK recommends that women who have had breast cancer follow the basic advice to reduce their risk of cancer coming back. This includes eating a healthy diet that is high in fibre and low in saturated fats, being physically active, maintaining a healthy weight and limiting alcohol (if consumed at all).

  • If you have had a diagnosis of breast cancer in the past and you would like to find out more about improving your health and wellbeing then please contact me by email to book a free consultation and further free consultations (as required) if this is something you would like to explore further.
